Spotify is broken !! Songs won't play and my name is an ID

My Question or Issue

I tried reinstalling Spotify and this happened. I logged in with my Facebook account and the username shows my Spotify ID , also songs WONT PLAY even if I click on it.Spotify Web Player and on my phone works fine.

The alphanumeric username you're seeing is automatically generated and can't be changed. No worries though, as it's only visible to you. Since you created your account through Facebook, if you enabled all permissions, your Facebook profile name is the one publicly shown in your Spotify account. You can also select the display name that you want by following the steps in this article.

Regarding the app not working properly, we understand that you tried reinstalling it, but we recommend following the specific steps in this guide to run a clean reinstall. This is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. We also suggest downloading the app again from the Microsoft Store.
