Spotify jumping around songs

My Question or Issue

When I want to play songs, Spotify just "jumps" around until it stops. Just on my Desktop, not my phone nor my school mac. I have tried to reinstall Spotify, restarted the desktop, tried other said solutions (from 2015) I have attached a video of the problem, would be grateful for ant help.

The first thing you should try is making sure your audio device is set as default. See this HowToGeek article on how to access the per-app sound preferences and change them. 🙂

Another thing that may help is muting an unmuting Spotify from taskbar volume control and then restarting Spotify.

What audio device are you using?
