Spotify keeps auto starting despite disabled settings

Yeah, I know; this topic has re-surfaced more times than syphilis. But I'm at a loss here.

I've disabled the autostart feature in advanced settings and the setting "Allow Spotify to be opened from the Web". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the application. I can't see any services autostarting in the task manager related to Spotify either.

Nothing helps. It keeps autostarting no matter what I do. 

Please show me how to disable this permanently. It's not OK to hijack other peoples computers like this.

Hey @cobrarosa,

when you shut you computer down you have to close Spotify.

When you don't do so, Windows will remember that and opens it when you turn your computer back on. This isn't a feature of Spotify. This is something Microsoft added to Windows some weeks ago.
