Spotify keeps crashing my computer.

My Question or Issue

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Spotify through both the direct EXE and the Windows store about 15 times, every time I have used programs like Revo Uninstaller to make sure that every trace of the program is gone before I try to reinstall it. Every single time that I open the program my entire computer will freeze, with no mouse input or keyboard inputs being taken. It does this even when Spotify is the only program open at the time. This is a 1-year-old computer that I have never had any other problems with. I have been using Spotify for a long while now, but it disappoints me that I can not use it on my main workstation. Even Spotify web player freezes my computer for no discernible reason.

Same thing here. Waiting on a solution. Had to plug my earphones to the phone and forget the app on my pc.

Same problem. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling using the recommended link. Started it up, within seconds it's crashed everything again. Infuriating when I'm trying to work! Since this is a common problem, why isn't Spotify FIXING it?
