Spotify not detecting JBL Go 2 bluetooth speaker

I have successfully paired a JBL Go2 speaker to two PCs running Windows 10. When I search the Spotify App for the device it just doesn't appear

The speaker is also paired to my Iphone which has the Spotify App. In this case the phone has paired with the speaker and Spotify 'sees' it and plays happily through it.

Is there something about the JBLGo2 speaker/Windows 10 and Spotify?
