Spotify not showing as Discord status

I've been fighting with this for weeks now. I've disconnected then reconnected the two apps, logged out of all devices through the Spotify website, cleared the caches, and even uninstalled and reinstalled both apps and still nothing. And before you ask, yes, I do have share my listening activity on on Spotify and display Spotify as status and on profile on on Discord.

It's worked fine in the past so I'm not sure what caused it to stop.

It doesn't work when I have them both open in my browser either. 

Discord will allow me to invite friends to listen along so I'm wondering if maybe it's just not showing for me?

Can you confirm that you followed the steps that's provided in this article? There's some more steps to help thoroughly uninstall the app from your device, so if you haven't, we'd highly suggest it ​​​​​​.
