Spotify prevent laptop from sleeping when i close the lid

When i close my laptop and Spotify is running on the foreground, the music keep playing, it juts lock the PC without sleeping. If i play a video on Chrome or use the Netflix app and close the lid, the laptop goes on stand by correctly.

Hey there,

I'd suggest a simple reinstall of Spotify first to ensure that you have the newest version installed. Additionally, a restart of your computer can often work wonders if it has not been shut down/restarted in a while. In the meantime, shutting down Spotify before closing your laptop is a good idea so you don't drain your computer battery.
