Spotify randomly crashes after 2-3 songs

Spotify randomly crashes after 2-3 songs

I open the app, and it works totally fine and does what it needs to... until I play something. It sounds great and works fine for the first 2 maybe even 3 songs, but then the app will exit itself out of nowhere and crash. Been going on for quite some time, and reinstalling the app does not help. The app works fine on my phone, but it never works on windows 11...

Hello @TedRLY

You mentioned that reinstalling the app doesn't help but could you check out this thread real quick to make sure you've done a clean reinstall because it's been proven to help.

Also, I'd recommend installing the Microsoft Store version of the app if you haven't been using it already.

Take care and let me know how it goes 😄

I've uninstalled the app cleanly - I also downloaded the Microsoft store version of Spotify.

It was working fine for a while (~2 days) but now I encountered the same issue today; App will randomly close itself in the middle of a song.

Having the same issue. Windows App crashes after a few songs.

Good day @TedRLY and @raytukkers

Could you guys clarify something to assist with the investigation

Firstly, were any of you guys using VPN software during or around the time you experienced this?

Also, please check for any apps like firewalls that may be blocking the app from running well.

Lastly, @raytukkers can you leave your device make, model, OS and Spotify version.

Hopefully we can clear this up soon. Take care 😄

No vpn used ever on my pc. And there's nothing that seems to be blocking any permissions or such.

Hello once again @TedRLY

I apologize for not noticing your response earlier.

The next step we can take is for you to restart your PC in safe mode.

Also do check if the web player is working fine or not.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
