Spotify randomly skips to another track

 Good day all,

I've been using Spotify for several months now, and there's this one problem that keeps popping up. When playing a random track, Spotify might skip to a completely different track. It might be of the same playlist, but it might also be something totally unrelated and sometimes even something I have never listened to before ("Saucy Beats"). Right now, it seems to happen every track.

I'm playing music through the Windows Spotify app, via optical out to a Devialet Spark. From there, it goes to two speakers (two Phantoms) through a PLN that the Spark especially creates for the speakers. There is no interference by other connections that might go over powerline, as I don't have any. The bluetooth of my phone is off, the app is closed.

Does anyone have an idea what this might be?
