Spotify resumes play after 25 seconds after pause when wired headset is connected

@peter says I don't have the same issue so I have to make a new post.

When I pause a song it will resume automatically after 25 seconds. The problem is persistent, but only happens when a wired headset is connected. It happens regardless of song or playlist, and also regardless of which wired headset is connected. It doesn't resume playing after pause if I disconnect the headset.

The other thread appears to be the same problem so this is a duplicate. I also found that this is a lenovo x1 carbon 6th gen computer wide problem and not just for spotify. Please close this thread.

Workaround: Use the wired output on a docking station in stead of the internal wired output.
