Spotify skipping tracks while I browse the web

My Question or Issue

Is there a way to stop Spotify from skipping to the next or previous track when I press my mouse's forward/back buttons to navigate websites in a browser? To avoid this I have to left-click the forward/back buttons in the browser itself. I have two other mouse buttons designated for next/previous track, and Spotify also using forward/back for next/previous is redundant and annoying.
