Spotify sound won't play through headset

I've recently got a USB powered Razer headset for Christmas. It's been working perfectly fine for the past few weeks and I've used Spotify often with these. Now all of a sudden, Spotify won't play anything through the headset. It does work with my speakers and everything else though. I've tried everything and could really use some help.

I'm having same issue. I have steelseries arctis 7 and have the speakers run through the wireless receiver that comes with the headset for easy switching between speakers and headphones. Spotify refuses to play anything at all so I'm going to have to cancel this **bleep**.

Had the same issue with my Kraken 7.1. It turned out that the Razer Synapse Software had muted Spotify, maybe check that. (Synapse --> select your headphones --> mixer --> check if spotify is muted)
