Spotify syncs last played songs between offline devices

My Question or Issue

After the recent update, Spotify automatically started to sync played songs and playlists between devices. Previously I was able to listen to a playlist at home, turn my PC off, and listen to a different playlist at work. If I had both of my PCs running with Spotify open, they synced up earlier so that was fine. Now I'm no longer able to keep listening to different playlists on different machines, as I need to manually change to whatever I want to listen to. Is there a way to disable this auto-sync so I could keep the old functionality?

YES. Can we please have the ability to maintain different queues on different devices! Why for the love of god would you force this upon us??
