Spotify won't open (windows 10 desktop app)

Spotify no longer opens, when I click to open it nothing happens. I've tried unistalling it and reinstalling and even loading my laptop in safe mode but nothing has made any difference. Also when I reinstall I get an error code 57 . 

Any help would be appreciated.

The Windows app store is rubbish, try to download the client from the Spotify website directly and install that way. Then it should work perfectly fine.
