Stop at end of album

Solved!

Stop at end of album

The last few weeks I noticed that my spotify premium doesn't stop any more at the end of an album, but 'starts playing similar music'. Is there a way to just make it stop after the last track of the album ?

Hey @erikva, welcome to the Spotify Community.

Sounds like you have to turn off the auto play feature.

You can use this site as a guide how to turn it off:

Hey @erikva, welcome to the Spotify Community.

Sounds like you have to turn off the auto play feature.

This is still a problem for me and autoplay is off. In the options autoplay says "Autoplay similar songs when you music ends." That's not the problem– Spotify just goes on to the next album in the artist's discography, which I don't want it to do. I want to know when an album is over and I don't necessarily want them to blur together or to listen to one after the other. Please fix this.

Same problem here - I only play albums, and when it gets to the end, I want it to stop.  You know, like records and CDs used to do.....

I agree! It is really annoying that one cannot simply select an album, listen to it, and have the music end. I don't care to have albums blur together. Disabling autoplay does not resolve this issue if you are listening to albums within the artist's page. The only way to get around this seems to make a playlist for each album you want to listen to, so you can actually just listen to that album by itself, which is a pain.

Please resolve this issue, so that disabling autoplay also applies to albums, not just playlists.
