Swapping to different output device causes spotify to skip songs

My Question or Issue:
Yesterday i received the Razer Nommo chromas for my birthday
i was ecstatic, only to my surprise that i couldnt use spotify with them unless
i wanted all of my computer sounds routed to them. i searched for around 4 hours on how to get spotify to route the sound to the speakers. i found a "way"
in sound settings on windows i was able to choose my output device for spotify.
but i was getting a mass of problems. when i selected the speakers as spotify's output device and played music on spotify, spotify would begin to skip a song or the playlist and give me the error "Spotify cant play this right now if you have the file on your computer you can import it" im quite confused as on the videos ive found this didnt happen to them, and when i use the program "Audio Router" it works perfectly fine for me then. but its quite a hassle to use.
i hope someone can help me fix this issue.

my solution to skipping songs was to execute spotify as aministrator.
