Syncing offline playlists to your mobile devices from a windows computer.

So I was trying to find solutions to fix the issue with syncing local files to your mobile devices. I saw one solution that said to change the inbound rules on the windows firewall. So I did it, is this safe to do?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Some routers and network set ups block certain protocols necessary for the successful upload and sync of local files. What you can try is disabling your firewall or adding exceptions for Spotify if you're afraid for your security or are using a public network. 

If you're not sure about this you can try to perform a clean reinstall of both app following this Spotify Guide. and then try to reupload the files from a different source folder on your PC. 

In case that doesn't change anything you can try creating a mobile hotspot from your phone. Then connect both your PC and phone to that network and reupload the files.
