My Question or Issue

I am unable to link my Spotify account via Game bar on Windows 10. When I press link account a new pop-up appears which loads for a moment and then stays blank white.

I had this functioning before on another pc.

I have tried both Microsoft store and .exe versions of Spotify. I have also set it as my default music player and reset my Game bar.

Any help in this area would be much appreciated

Hey there @PeterLP123

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this.

You mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?

On another note, would you mind trying it again using a different internet connection to check if that makes the difference?

If this doesn't do the trick, could you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end?

We'll be on the lookout for your reply 🙂

I'm stuck at the point at 0:37 of the video.

I've also checked if the regions of my windows 10 and spotify are matching.

Hey @harvey_hsin,

Thanks for your reply.

This might be due to some cache-related issues between your app client on the particular device, or intermittent connectivity to the internet. Could you confirm if the issue still persists, after following the reinstall steps suggested by @Eni in the guide above? Also could you confirm, if the situation occurs again, while using a different internet connection?

We appreciate the video you've sent, but we'd like to see what's happening on your end if possible. Perhaps you can do a short video as well, so we can take a look and advise you better. You can send a link to it again, or attach it using the Insert Video option in the post editor.

Let us know how things work out, we'll be keeping an eye out for your reply.
