Unable to maximize window on a portrait display

I've noticed what I believe to be a bug with the current version (1.0.70.388) of the desktop app for Windows. I have a 22" monitor that is in a portrait orientation resolution set to 1080X1920. When maximizing the spotify window (whether manually dragging the window to fill the screen, dragging to the top for 'aero snap', or hitting the maximize button) the window only fills half the screen, and cuts off the bottom, without a scroll bar or the ability to view the playback menu (play, pause, skip, ect).
