My Question or Issue

Recently moved my songs from my main hard drive to secondary hard drive on my PC. I wanted to re-link the files to their proper locations, but when I was unable to do that, I tried removing them completely and then re-adding them. When right clicking on my files, however, there is no option to remove the file.

Things I've tried:
Going to
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Spotify\Users\[user]-user

to find local-files.bnk but was unable to locate it
Deleted all files in that folder, still no luck.

Going to preferences and unchecking where my local files were being read.

Can't seem to simply get rid of my files or re-link them.

Hi,

I did the same thing with my entire library including  docs, music, photos and other stuff but had no problem with that.

Try to turn of Local Files in Settings. I have attached a screenshot of it.

This should help you fix the issue, I would also recommend to reinstall the app.

Hope it helps.

Cheers!

Yup, reinstalling helped. It's always nice to find a graceful solution to a problem.

Lesson learned; when in doubt... always nuke it!

Lol that's true, when things get stubborn just nuke them!
