When adding a track to a playlist, I can no longer search for the playlist I’m looking for by typing the first letter of the playlist.

New in desktop app version 1.1.89.858 (and Web Player). This was also added to the mobile app a while back.
• You can now search the "Add to Playlist" menu using the search bar at the top
I have the same issue!
(I don't have Premium, but I use the Desktop App on Windows 10 as well.)
Hopefully we will get this feature back; it is very helpful for people like me who have A Lot of playlists and would have to spend a long time scrolling when adding a song to a playlist. The announcement post about the new desktop version* mentioned "improving areas like playlist creation and curation", and for me, the feature we are missing definitely counts as an improvement.
