Username is bunch of random characters. How do I fix it?

Edit: I fixed it. After I posted this, it asked me to choose a username. I can't figure how to delete this. Sorry.

this only changed my community username not my account username. since I couldnt change my location (no matter how I tried) Ive already recreated a new account and now my username is a bunch of random stuff and even though I typed in my username when I was signing up. and now I just cant change it. why is spotify so stupid??

I just created a Spotify account, not via Facebook, and my username shows up as random generated numbers and letters, even though they asked me to create a username.
