Volume is lowered when pausing music using Spotify Connect

Hi

Im new to Spotify and Im just beginning to learn how to use it. Im one of those people who used Groove and got kicked over to Spotify 🙂

I have a Beoplay A6 that supports Spotify Conncet. When I pause a song using my Windows 10 Spotify app, the volume is set to 20% for no reason. I have to turn up the volume when resuming the song. Every time! And always 20% volume. The default volume for the speaker itself is 60% so it must be the Spotify Connect that acts weird.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE:

So I did some more investigation and it turns out the volume is only lowered to 20% when the volume is ABOUVE 50% at the time of pausing the music. If the volume is 50% or below then it works just fine.

Is this some weird annoying feature? Super annoying!
