When I make playlist collaborative it doesn't show on my profile?

When I make a public playlist collaborative, the second I do it it disappears from my profile. It isn't visible to anybody on my profile but if someone else is following it it will still show on theirs. Is there a similar issue floating around that has been solved already? does spotify have a live support chat or phone number of some sort? Will emailing about it be of help? I made this playlist for my girlfriend and  she wanted to add music to it but Its strange to me it'd disappear from the creators page.

Right now, making a playlist Collaborative will change it to private automatically. This is to avoid random people following it and making unwanted modifications.

This way, only the people that are currently following the playlist will be able to modify it. If you want other friends to join in, you can share the playlist's link over your preferred messaging method.
