Why Cant I Play My Playlist Out of Order on Desktop?

My Question or Issue

I know on phone, you have limted amount of skips and only can either play your playlist on shuffle or in order, but on desktop, on your playlist there was a play button next to each song so i could play any song i wanted at anytime, but thats not the case anymore. my playlist play button can't be clicked and i cant press play on my songs and i cant even click the title of the song. it can only be played my pressing the shuffle button. i have restarted, logged in out of my account several times but it cannot be fixed. is this a new update or is it just happening to me?
