Windows 10 - Left corner song banner (pause,stop)

This has been going on for a while, and according to other posts Spotify is "fixing" this since June. Everytime you quit Spotify you have to go into the settings and enable-disable the option "show desktop overlay when using media keys" for this annoying banner to go away. Who even likes it? it stays for too long, it's not transparent, and you cannot close it, just wait until it's gone. Can you fix this???
