My Question or Issue

I have had this issue for a long time now, and nothing on the older topics seems to have helped me. I have a white bat at the top when my window is maximised. This is the only program this happens with. I have tried reinstalling spotify and no windows updates have helped. Is there a solution to this?

Hey @YunikoYokai

Thanks for getting back to us.

In case you've downloaded the app directly from our website, would you mind downloading it from the Microsoft Store and vice versa? Do you notice anything new?

If possible, could you try logging into your account using a different computer to see if the issue persists?

Keep us posted.

Hey there @YunikoYokai,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Can you let us know what troubleshooting you've gone through so far? It would also be helpful if you add a screenshot of how things look on your end 🙂

Cheers.

You seem to be running fairly old build of Windows 10.

Suggesting updating to October 2020 Update (20H2) with update assistant via this link

Sometimes Windows Update wont offer these updates, so you can manually do it with the assistant.

I'd recommend to use the Windows 10 Spotify app from Microsoft Store.

I have updated to the newest windows with no success. White bar still there. I have had this problem for a year or 2 now, so I kinda guessed a Windows update wouldn't help.

In terms of things I have tried:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify
- Updating Windows
- Updating Graphics card Drivers.

I don't really know what else I can do at this time.

Downloading it from the Microsoft App Store appears to have fixed it. Thanks very much!
