Windows 10, sudden delay on play/pause/volume/song switch. High-End PC specs.

Hi,

I have a problem with Spotify on a high-end desktop computer (i7 6700k, gtx1080, 16gb ram) hooked with a Fiio e07k USB DAC with Beyerdynamic DT770. Hardware acceleration enabled.

After a while with application open and no playbacks (1 hrs or such), Spotify is suddenly very delayed with play/pause/volume/song switch (10 seconds or more) when I try to play a song. Even when I exit application from bottom right corner in Windows, song just continues to play in the background. Very annoying.

I have to exit the application from task manager, and after this "hard restart" everything works as it should... Until next time it occur...

This has problem occurs soo many times now. I can't find a solution on this forum or Google.

I have tried deleting AppData in windows and re-installed the application. No luck.

No other application has the same problem, nor high CPU usage or virus or such. This is spotify only.

Anyone with the same problem? Any solution?
