Windows desktop player no longer shows connected devices. Spotify Connect icon greyed out.

The spotify connect icon on the bottom right of the Windows desktop Spotify player is greyed out, no longer showing connected and available devices.  I typically stream to a Marantz Spotify enabled receiver and have verified that the Marantz can still access other media from the same laptop that spotify player is installed on.  I have exited and logged out of Spotify player multiple times, and have also uninstalled and reinstalled the player with no success.   Any guidance from the community or from Spotify on this propblem would be greatly apprecited.  Thanks!

Looks like others (myself included) may be experiencing a problem with Connect--like you described, but also beyond just the Windows Desktop Player.
