automatic downloads are driving me crazy

I literally only have 2 apps on my brand new laptop and im almost certain this is not because of firefox. The spotify app will keep downloading useless files onto my desktop and i have to delete them every day or so. I have download turned off, im thinking about just uninstalling the app because this is very very annoying.

That is odd!

I'd suggest reinstalling Spotify, but before you redownload the app, restart your computer.

It might be helpful to install the Windows Store Spotify client instead of the standalone one.

If you're still having trouble, let me know what version of Spotify are you running and do these folders appear when you run the app. 🙂
