can't play the current song - win 10

Solved!

can't play the current song - win 10

I'm constantly getting this error message: "can't play the current song " and the Win10 app is not moving to the next song.  I have to click on the "next song" button to continue listennig. This happens only on my Win 10 PC (with Spotify app installed on it). The app is up to date. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Could you try removing all offline devices here. But you'll need to download all your tracks again. But it should help. ^^

Let me know if that helps, thanks! ^^

Peace

Hey @swf1978! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

That doesn't sound cool.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

Let me know how it goes! ^^

Are you trying to play 'Local Files'?

And does it happen to all of your songs/playlist you want to listen?

Peace

This happens when I listen online. I'm not using the offline option at all.

Looks like everything is OK now. No problems in the last 2 hours. Thank you for your support!

Hi again,

The problem appeared again... I will try remove all devices again (as proposed earlier), but this looks like a workaround and not a solution. Any other ideas how to permanently solve this problem?

actually there is nothing in "offline devices" - the list is emrty.
