discord not showing spotify status only shows on mobile/alexa

Discord only shows my spotify listening status when i use my iphone at home or use alexa but doesnt wanna work when i use the app on desktop.

Yes i redownloaded spotify/discord cleaned appdata folders and so on
I have tried everything im not dumb when it comes to computers but this stumped me and i need help. It all started when my friend was messing with my boot services on my computer which i reverted back well i think i did at least.

I need help ive downloaded and redownloaded so many times logged out logged in disconnected access to spotify from discord reconnected it. you name it i tried it.

Someone please help me before i factory reset my PC

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

We get that you're not able to have synchronization between your Spotify desktop app and Discord. As everything seems to work fine on your mobile, please make sure that the desktop app is not using a different Spotify account from the one you have logged in you mobile. You can also doublecheck the information about connecting your Discord with Spotify here.
