(fixed) Why won't Spotify play sound over headphones when noise cancellation is on?

All of a sudden, Spotify won't play any sound if I enable noise cancellation on my Bluetooth headphones. Other apps and such still play sound normally, but Spotify doesn't. I've already disconnected & reconnected the headphones as well as reinstalled the app, but it still isn't fixed. I tried offline mode as well, but that still didn't work.
(I'm on Windows 10 and am using the desktop app, by the way)

Edit: reinstalled a few more times and somehow it's working again- I dunno why but yeah
