Hey there @bmtrygar

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

No worries, to delete an album from a playlist, you just need to select the songs one by one by clicking on them while holding the Shift button on your keyboard.

If this is not how it works on your end, could you give us more info on what happens when you try deleting the songs? Sending us a screenshot would come in handy.

Keep us posted.

I worked, but was a little damaging.  In addition to the song is selected, it also deleted many other songs (it seems like it selected a number of rows above the intended song.

Hey @bmtrygar,

Thanks for your reply.

No worries. In this case, just press (simultaneously) the Control + Z keys in order to reverse any unwanted changes.

We hope this info is useful and remember the Community is here in case anything else comes up

Cheers!

Does this work on web browser? I cant select mutiple songs at once for some reason

Hey @Dasdaaijsdm,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Selecting multiple songs with keyboard shortcuts is not possible on the web player. You'll need the desktop app for that.

Hope this clears things a bit,

Cheers!

I select the songs then hit delete this playlist, one song deletes, So I hit delete on my keyboard and it says "Remove from 'The Playlist'", I hit 'Remove' and nothing happens

Hey @Riley13,

Thank you for your reply in this thread.

In this case, we'd like to gather as much info as possible. Does this happen while using a different internet connection? Does this happen with multiple songs or only with a specific one?

On another note, if possible, could you give it a try using a different computer to see if you'll experience the same?

In case the issue persists, it'd also be great if you let us know if this issue started after a recent update and send us a quick video where we can take a better look at this behavior.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

This isn't really much of a solution or an answer. Yes of course you can delete individual tracks one by one but some of my albums have got 50 or 60 tracks on it. Which is extremely tedious and laborious to do. Why can't Spotify just allow you to it to individually delete albums from a playlist? I know I'm not going to suggest it as a feature because I know they always get completely ignored

I don't find this very helpful. As examples, everything by Metallica before 1988 is great, everything after sucks; ATUM by the Smashing Pumpkins is unlistenable to me; Midnight Vultures from Beck is yawn! It is quite an ordeal to select each song from each album I don't like and delete them one by one. It should be much easier to implement removal of an entire album. If not, perhaps you should pay some skilled coders?

Yes, it does work on web browser.
