making public lists visible to others??

I'm a new user, so apologies if this question has an obvious answer.

I have a premium account using Windows 10.

I put a list of tracks into a playlist, and mark it public. Then on another account (free if that matters) I try to search for that playlist, and it's not found.

Is there some additional action I need to take to make it visible? Or maybe I just don't get public playlists.

I've tried both the app, and web player for same results.

The playlists which are indexed and show up when using the search tool is only a selection of the total amount of playlists which are out there. When you set your playlist as public, others can find it when they look at playlists on your spotify profile page, but it's not guaranteed to show up when you search for it, even if it's a playlist made by your own profile. The easiest way to find it when you're on the profile without the playlist would be to either copy a link to the playlist, and open the link when you're on the other profile.
