pausing a song on spotify mutes all audio on my pc, but when i unpause and pause again it fixes the problem until it eventually happens again.

Could you let us know if this has always happened or it it started happening after a specific event such as an update?

On another note, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.
