My Question or Issue

For the whole time I've had spotify, across multiple devices, it sometimes just pauses a song with no instruction to do so, and will then later unpause with no instruction to do so. Because this is happening on 3 different devices I doubt it is a problem a fresh install will fix (though I have tried this!). Any thoughts?

Hey @jimbob_barnes, welcome to the community!

Just to confirm, are you getting any error messages when the music pauses? Also, does this happen when you're streaming or in Offline Mode?

I'll see what to suggest.

There are no error messages. I haven't observed it during offline playback, but I don't listen offline often.

Thanks for the info!

Just to confirm, are you rocking Spotify on the three devices at the same time? Also, if you head to the Devices Available part of the app, do you see any unrecognized devices?

To be on the safe side, I suggest signing out of all devices by heading to your profile page, and clicking the "Sign Out Everywhere" button. Also, try updating your Spotify password.

Keep me in the loop.

No. I have just observed the behavior on three different devices at
different times.
