play.spotify.com link doesn't open in the desktop app

If you press on a play.spotify.com link, it doens't open inside the spotify app, it opens in your web browser (e.g. google chrome).

There's no way to change the setting.

According to Spotify staff, Web Player is still being improved and tested, so website links will only be transferred to the browser. I do not know of a fix at this time.
