[playlists or radio] Not Playing.

My Question or Issue

I've been using Spotify on new computer for 1 1/2 years.  Suddenly 2 wks ago when I opened Spotify, chose a playlist, hit PLAY :  Instead of playing selection:  Program highlighted chosen  green then proceeded to highlight next song, then highlighted third song, fourth song, etc. etc. etc.   all the way thru every song in list ! ! !  Same on every playlist I chose and also on any Radio Station.   What's App With This Up ? ? ?

Could you check if your audio playback device is set as default? That's the most common cause for the client skipping songs to no end. 🙂

 

I'd suggest checking the app-specific device settings specifically:

1. Open Settings, go to Sound.

2. Scroll down and click on "App volume and device preferences".

3. See if Spotify has your device as default or not.
