podcast not playing

My music is working fine, but not the podcasts. None of them play, have tried emptying cache and what not

This type of issue is usually related to some damaged cache stored on the device. We'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful getting rid of any corrupted files that might be causing issues. 

If the issue persists, would you mind checking in a different device and the Web Player to see if it makes any difference?

Lastly, to investigate this further, include in your next response the make, model and OS version of the device involved, along with the Spotify version you're currently running.
