I have premium account that I paid for a full year instead of 9.99 per month and Spotify tells ms I am not eligible for the free google mini promotion - why

Right now, the Google Home Mini offer is only available to those with a regular recurring Premium subscription in your region.

Unfortunately, users that are paying for a full year are not eligible for this offer.
