My Issue

When I'm using ASIO4ALL driver, Spotify client refuse to play any music, when I switch off it's working perfectly fine.

Any solution rather than turning it off?

Hey @Botato

That's a bit of a strange issue!

While my searches on ASIO4ALL and Spotify yielded this idea (status marked as Not Right Now), I'd also try making sure that the ASIO device (if it appears as so) is marked as Default in your Playback Devices.

Right-click on the speaker icon on Taskbar and select 'Playback Devices' or 'sound settings'. There you can highlight the device and mark it as Default.
(Spotify uses default audio devices).

I honestly don't get why ASIO4ALL shouldn't work while Focusrite (which came with its own ASIO and WDM drivers) works for me.

Let me know how it goes and I'll investigate further, if needed 🙂

Thanks for the help. I have tried a few re-routing in windows and I decided to keep using my long used virtual mixing software and keep turning on/off ASIO4ALL if it's needed.
