Hi,
I was wondering how I can bring back the panel on the right-hand side that shows people I am following and what they last listened to. This has been replaced by the invitation to "find friends". I've already found everyone I need/want to, and would like to view their recent activity again. I have no desire to link my Spotify to my Facebook.
First-world problems be damned, I know- I would just like to get things back to the way they were.
Thanks to everyone in advance.
Edward
This may be due to a spotify update. Try reinstalling the application.

Hi, poninga. Thanks for your response. Sadly, this hasn't resolved the issue. I think it's a little bit odd that no-one else seems to be having this problem. I tried a search but it revealed nothing. Do you have the Spotify Client installed on a Windows computer yourself?
Like I said, it's not the end of the world but it's more an annoyance.
Thanks again!
I have got it installed on windows. I had a similar problem and that fixed it. Maybe try unfollowing and following those people again.
Thanks for getting back to me again, Poninga. Sadly, this didn't resolve it either. To date, I have tried a few things:
- Uninstall, reinstall.
- Logout, login.
- Unfollow, follow.
One thing I forgot to mention, this happened around 2 months ago and randomly corrected itself. This behaviour is identical on 3 Desktop controllers, each on different networks; though all with the same account. I wonder if this is an account issue, or if Spotify have (intentionally or unintentionally) changed something in an update?
Can't really think of what to do next. Appreciate the help, nonetheless. 🐵
Bump. No one has any ideas? Help would be much appreciated.
Hey @ERay666
I suggest trying out a clean reinstall in this case. Maybe a normal reinstall wasn't enough 🙂
Do the following:
1. Close Spotify and uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify from here.
Keep me posted!
Hey, Sebasty!
Thanks so much for taking the time to provide a lengthy, proposed resolution. I really am thankful. Though, sadly, this is not working either. Granted, I only tried on one machine but I am having this problem on three laptops (on 3 separate networks). Maybe I should try signing out everywhere next?
Thanks again.
Hey @ERay666
Yes, you can try signing out and in again on each Spotify program or by clicking the "Sign out everywhere" button on your account page. This could trigger a refresh and may also solve issues 🙂
Let me know how it goes!
