"The spotify application is not responding" - random and across machines and Spotify versions

"The spotify application is not responding" - random and across machines and Spotify versions

Premium. US. Windows 11. Dell Laptop as well as a Microsoft Surface Laptop, a Microsoft Surface Book, and a bunch of Windows machines that I've built.

 

This issue has existed across Windows versions and Spotify versions for years. Spotify starts with Windows, and then I look and see the popup. It'll work when I close it, but it is unpredictable and reproducible across machines, I just don't know what triggers it. 

 

I don't think any of the proposed solutions would fix it and I don't have someone else's account to log into.

Sorry for the late response! 

Are you still experiencing issues with the Spotify Desktop app, or has this been resolved?

If you still have issues, can you try on the Web Player to check if you can replicate this behavior? I also suggest you double-check if you're not using any VPN service that might be causing this issue.

Keep me posted on how this goes.
