short command keys to windows 10

I wish that there is a short command keys spotify for windows 10.

e.g. you have just open your spotify and minimised it or closed program while music is going then you want to press pause or next music, right? For windows 10 you have to use your mouse to open the spotify to click play or next ect.

which is fustrating. 

I have a keyboard Razor chroma that has pause play (..) buttons, and that works! but what if I dont use keyboard and using from laptop that it has no play buttons??

Please spotify I wish you can do a special popup window or make a short command button..
