spotify keeps pausing, and playing by itself in the PC

On windows the spotify app out of the microsoftstore, and the downloaded version from the spotify website keeps doing the same. Cache has been cleared, hardware acceleration is off, computer is restarted, and the app has been reinstalled multiple times. The problem keeps persisting, and it's not the headphones or whatsoever eighter since with none of the devices connected it keeps doing this.

If you're experiencing playback issues on your desktop device here are a few other things that you can also try to get this fixed:

• Disable any antivirus or ad-blocking software.
• Turn off VPN (if in use).
• Remove host files. Head here find out how.
• Try accessing the web player before re-attempting to log back in to the desktop client to see if that makes any difference.
• Run Spotify on Safe Mode.

In case the issue still persists, it'd be great if you could tell us the exact make and model of the affected device, its operating system, as well as your Spotify version. Any screenshots (or a quick video) you can provide will also be helpful to identify what's causing the issue.
