spotify listening activity not working or not shared to other websites

My desktop spotify listening activity just stopped working, basically not showing it's status to discord or last.fm anymore. When i try it on my phone or the web everything works just fine. The music player isn't broken or anything, i can still listen to music but apparently all that activity wasn't recorded and shared to other websites. To be clear, I've tried restarting my computer, restarting spotify and discord, reinstalling spotify, log out of my account, reauthorize connections, etc. and none seems to work. Any help here?

Could you please be sure if the 'Share my listening activity on Spotify' toggle is turned on within your Spotify preferences?

Could you also please list your Spotify version?
