unable to uninstall desktop application

I've tried to uninstall the spotify desktop application for win10 via the control panel and via preferences>system>apps. In both instances there was no visible reaction of the system to the command. So no error message or prompt.

I've installed the program just today and switched the offline songs storage to a second partition. Does this pose a problem? Does anyone know another way to uninstall?

Two possible answers, try something like IOBIT UNSTALLER you can get it free to use and uninstall it then use the power uninstall too, also sometimes u need to reinstall troublesome apps first before u can get rid of em, hope u have success!
