My Question or Issue

I have version 09.15.27.g87efe634 running on a XP mediaplayer and it stopped working a few days ago. Spotify still finds the playlists, start playing but no sound.

Hey @ethuijs

Both XP and that version of Spotify are very old by now and neither are supported anymore.

You can read this article to learn more about system requirements

You can probably use the web player through your web browser, but the player has minimum requirements for these too, as old browser versions do not work.
I'd suggest trying Firefox ESR, maybe that will help.

Hope that helps. 🙂

I tried your suggestion but Firefox ESR can not be installed on XP. The latest Firefox version 51 that can be installed on XP doesn't support webplayer from Spotify anymore. Tried also Opera as sugestted on other sites but the XP version of Opera doesn't support Spotify webplayer anymore. I found out that Spotify still works but Spotify Connect fails to appear on my Smartphone as it did before.
