My Question or Issue

If you can't see the video (or are paranoid that it's going to download a virus to your device the very millisecond you click it), then, basically, when I click a song, playlist or not, the website tells me "Spotify can't play this right now", and it skips a few songs, then the song it does land on ends up getting the audio cut off not even 10 seconds later... I am sincerely sorry if this explanation isn't good enough, that's what the video is for.

Hello @Avery_the_Cat,

Thanks for posting this thread in the forum and for the shared details.

To get a better idea, could you let us know if you noticed in case this behavior occurred after something specific for the first time on your work laptop?

If you've not already done so I recommend disabling any browser extensions which may be the cause of this and testing with a different web browser. Also let us know if there's a difference on another device (and network connection).

Since you've mentioned being on a work device, something to keep in mind is that if you're using a VPN on it, this could cause issues with Spotify. Something else that could be interfering is another app or for example software installed on the work laptop.

We're here if you need help with anything else in the meantime.

After resetting the computer, it's fixed, but I'll leave this post in case it occurs again. Apologies for not seeing this message before.

Also, I would like to mention that the browser I use (Microsoft Edge) malfunctioned yesterday, the same day Spotify wasn't working. These issues may have been connected to each other, although it might have been a coincidence. Either way, resetting the computer worked, as it seems.
